Connections

The projector is only part of the story when trying to achieve the best picture available. The signal from your set top box, media player or computer is where the story starts.

To achieve the best quality picture, we recommend matching the output resolution from your device to the resolution of your projector, if you have an HD set top box then an HD projector would be the best match, likewise if you have SCART then a SCART compatible projector would suit you fine. Remember it may be worth choosing a better resolution projector if you are considering an upgrade to HD TV or Blu-Ray in the near future.

Imagine your at home watching the latest cinema release in 3D! Well that's what reality can be with this amazing projector. I have owned many other makes and models before this and 3D Tv's but nothing compares to price, size and quality of image than what you experience with the Optoma HD33 3D Projector. I have mine connected to the Sony Playstation 3 with bluray 3D, Virgin Media HD Box (not the TIVO version) buying a converter for 2d to 3d enables me to watch any channel from Sky through the Virgin Box in 3D. I like this project and would recommend to anyone to buy one it's the best experience I have had outside the cinema! My friends and family join me for movie night and the colours and depth including motion are amazing! Both the kids and adults really enjoyed watching the Smurfs film in full HD 3D on this system and we were all amazed at how sharp and emmersive the picture really is! If you have not yet been tempted do not wait any longer, your really missing out! Put it on your Christmas wish list, it will be the best buy and your family with thank you for it too! All projectors hold there money too when your selling them on so remember they are a great investment. Enjoy!
HD33 in Qatar..Neighbours blown away

I purchased EU version of HD33 from Dubai Agent of Optoma( I think it is Themescene), and had it imported in Qatar. I did lot of research, before making this purchase, and I hooked it up to HUGE 150" Screen... and it blew everyone away..Why...because the size, the sharpness, the fluidity of images, awesome. Nobody had seen such giant images.. my advice to everyone.. go as big as you can, that is why you bought projector...right ? OPTOMA has even put high end processing on HD33..found on high end models.. OPTOMA delivers with this one..
